I'm officially in my Third Trimester and Officially Nesting

I can't stop organizing everything. everything is sorted and organized... INSIDE AND OUT!

ITS A GIRL

I went into the Obgyn on Monday June 8th and found out it was a girl, she was rather shy about sharing her "naughty bits" with us however as the ultrasound technician struggled to take a pic in between her legs...

I may go in for a second opinion later on down the line considering I am only just past the 18 week part.

and she looked kinda skeletor.. but the technician said she was 95% sure I was having a girl...

I guess the boys are really obvious when they are boys.. lol

So that means I am having Katarina Vera Sherman.... and she is gonna be beautiful.

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Erin Barkley, I am 20 years old and 17 weeks pregnant.
I go to school and am majoring in Media Arts but am currently taking a break off for my pregnancy.

My goal is to share week to week how my pregnancy is doing.
It's my first pregnancy and I am not in the ideal situation and I think it'd be a good way to maintain a diary of my first baby and to reach out to other mom's out there who are going through the same thing.

I am not married, but I am still with my boyfriend Conor. He is 18 years old and we are both thrown for a loop and also both very excited.

My first trimester was rough, I had hyper emesis and was in and out of the hospital the whole first 12 weeks.

I lost 20 pounds and am still trying to gain back the weight.

asides from morning sickness the other symptoms i've had and will discuss with you are

1) constipation
2) fatigue
3) faintness
4) achy joints
5) vivid dreams (both regular and sexual)
6) lack of libido
7) extreme mood swings.

today starts my 17th week and although i'm past the icky first trimester I still threw up my entire prime rib dinner. Not fun.
But at least I can finally feel the baby move, and will know the gender on monday.
so things are looking up.

If any of you mom's are out there and would like another mom to talk to I am your gal.

here is my lil peanut at 7 weeks in vitro... I got an early ultrasound in my hyper-emesis.
